Butch O'Neal is a born fighter. A tough former homicide cop and the only human who has been allowed access to the Black Dagger Brotherhood. And he wants to delve further into that world, to engage in the war against the restrictors. It has nothing to lose. His heart belongs to a female vampire, a beautiful aristocrat who is out of reach. If you can not have it, then at least you can fight with the Brotherhood.
Fate curses him with what he loves. When Butch sacrifices himself to save a civilian vampire restrictors, falls prey to the darker forces of war. Left for dead, found by a miracle, the Brotherhood calls on Marissa to bring him back, but perhaps even her love for him to get saved ...
already read me the last lover left in my shelf:). To say, well ... I liked, of course. A lot.
At first this was very funny I read it to me but if I wanted to read me the whole saga because I had to skip one. And just because I did not like was by no fraternity brother but a friend did in the first book in the series. A very special friend, especially for Vishous, which still do not know if something will happen between them. After having read this volume I was a bit thoughtful about what happened.
I'm going to start explaining the book but I can say that there is a new warrior in the Black Dagger Brotherhood, and things in life, one family.
What makes me sad is that it has ended badly with his family and did not know the truth. Well, at least in this book. The epilogue is pretty amazing. I imagined something but after reading me the epilogue I was quite surprised.

Now, to expect next. Vishous
